Antigua & Barbuda 40 Years! 

    Antigua & Barbuda was one of the countries that was plagued with the unfortunes of slavery. In 1981 we were finally able to reclaim our independence as a country and make moves towards a better future. Antigua and Barbuda has come a long way as now in 2021 we celebrate 40 years of our freedom. Due to the pandemic we were not able to have a fully traditional independence celebration but we still had in our own way. Typically we would have many festivities. School panorama, School marching and special drills, independence and art shows, in school drawing competitions, and the highly anticipated food fair. This year they had marching the usual pathfinders etc. there was no formal food fair but many persons went to the sides of the roads or their usual vending spots to sell local foods and a virtual panorama. Hopefully in 2022 we are able to go all out for 41 Years of Independence!
